Spinach Cream Cheese Balls
Spinach is a wonderfully nutritious food, and is rich in antioxidants. These delicious little cream cheese balls are packed with spinach, and only take a couple of minutes to prepare.

All you need to do is whizz up the ingredients in a food processor, spend a few minutes rolling them up, then just pop them in the fridge to set.

These healthy toddler snack balls are perfectly sized for your little one and taste great.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups baby spinach leaves
  • 250g block of cream cheese

Method

Put spinach and cream cheese together in a food processor and blend until spinach is finely chopped and cheese is smooth. It should all look nice and green.

Remove from food processor and roll into little balls.

Put in the fridge for about an hour to set.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for a few days. Makes roughly 24 snack balls.

Hi Terra. yes these can be a little bit messy if your little one holds them in their hands for too long or plays with them. A great way to avoid any messy fingers would be to use a small fork instead of fingers to eat these. Unfortunately cream cheese does not freeze well, the texture would not be as good once thawed, so these are a fridge snack only.
