Flourless Choc Nut Muffins
These teensy, healthy chocolate muffins for toddlers have a rich fudge-like texture and are loaded with flavor. And only four ingredients! 

They are gluten free, dairy free and vegan.


  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 1/2 tsp cocoa powder


Preheat oven to 180 C (355 F) and line a mini muffin tin with paper muffin cases.

Mash banana and add peanut butter, continuing to mash until well combined.

Add coconut and cocoa powder, mix well.

Divide evenly into muffin cases.

Bake for 15 minutes.

Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. They will get firmer as they cool.

  • Bananas are a fantastic ingredient in toddler cooking, as they are a healthy way of sweetening any recipe without adding refined sugar. Mashed banana can also be used in place of butter or oil to keep cakes and muffins moist.
