Jelly Oranges

Jelly Oranges
Your toddler will love it when they realize there's something different about their oranges!

Ingredients

  • 2 oranges
  • 2 1/2 tbsp gelatin powder

Method

Cut oranges in half.

Juice them, you want to get 1 cup of orange juice.

Use a spoon to scrape out the remaining pulp from the orange peel halves.

Pour orange juice into a pot and add gelatin. Mix well. It should be just a little bit thick.

Put pot on the stove on low heat. Stir until all gelatin is dissolved and mixture is warm. Don't simmer or boil, just warm it up to dissolve it.

Sit orange peel halves into the cavities of a muffin tray to hold them upright.

Pour juice/gelatin mixture into them, try to fill them as much as you can without spilling it.

You should be able to fill 3 of them with 1 cup of juice.

Place in the fridge for an hour or two until set.

Cut into wedges and serve.
