Frozen Yoghurt Pops
This recipe makes 3 x peanut butter banana and 3 x vanilla coconut frozen yoghurt pops. Depending on the size of your ice cream molds, you may need to adjust the amount of yoghurt to fill them properly.

  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/4 cup greek yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Mash banana and peanut butter together until smooth. Add 1/2 cup yoghurt and mash until well combined. Divide evenly into 3 ice cream molds.

Mix coconut, vanilla and remaining 3/4 cup of yoghurt together until well combined and divide evenly into 3 ice cream molds.

Add ice cream sticks and freeze overnight.

  • Bananas are a fantastic ingredient in toddler cooking, as they are a healthy way of sweetening any recipe without adding refined sugar. Mashed banana can also be used in place of butter or oil to keep cakes and muffins moist.
  • You will often see yoghurts advertised as being "probiotic" which means they contain live bacterial organisms which have a beneficial effect on the balance of good bacteria in our digestive systems. Not all yoghurts are probiotic, check the label before buying to ensure that it contains live and active cultures.
