These delicious snack balls make a fantastic healthy snack. They are so easy to make! They are a great way of serving raw carrot to older babies instead of offering hard carrot sticks.
Finely grate equal parts carrot and tasty cheese, then simply roll into bite size balls.
DID YOU KNOW...
Carrots are packed full of beta-carotene, which our bodies convert into vitamin A. Carrots are one of the best sources of vitamin A. Vitamin A is good for your skin, bones, teeth, and vision. Beta-carotene is also what gives carrots their distinct orange colour.
Cheese is among the richest dietary sources of calcium, which plays an essential role in bone health.

These look like such a lovely treat. How long would they keep in the fridge?
Hi Annamarie, these keep for a few days in the fridge. Choose an airtight bag or container to store them in, with as little air in with them as possible to prevent the cheese from hardening.
Many toddlers love to dip their food in sauces. By providing them with healthy dipping sauces (eg. Greek yoghurt with avocado blended through) they may be encouraged to eat more of what's on their plate.
