Banana Honey Pudding

Banana Honey Pudding
Banana and honey combine to give this delicious pudding its sweet flavour, and it contains a dash a cocao powder to make it just a little bit chocolaty as well.

This creamy banana honey pudding contains four healthy ingredients and takes just minutes to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup thickened cream
  • 1 small banana
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp cocao powder

Method

Use a mixer, beater or blender to whip the cream.

Blend banana, honey and cocao powder together in a blender (mashing works as well if you don't have a blender, but the pudding won't be as smooth).

Combine banana mixture with the whipped cream and mix gently until smooth and well combined.

Makes two toddler sized servings.

Best served immediately as the banana may brown if pudding is stored in the fridge.

DID YOU KNOW...

  • Bananas are a fantastic ingredient in toddler cooking, as they are a healthy way of sweetening any recipe without adding refined sugar. Mashed banana can also be used in place of butter or oil to keep cakes and muffins moist.
  • Raw honey contains natural vitamins, antioxidants, enzymes, and many other important natural nutrients. These nutrients are destroyed when honey is heated and pasteurised. It is worth noting that eating pasteurised honey is almost the same as eating refined sugar, without any of the health benefits of raw honey.
