Basic Sweet Potato Biscuits
These tasty biscuits are so simple to put together and have only 4 ingredients! They are delicious served with a dash of butter on top.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sweet potato, cooked and mashed
  • 3/4 cup plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp water

Method

Preheat oven to 180 C (355 F) and line a baking tray with baking paper.

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until well combined.

Place dough on a lightly floured surface and roll flat with a rolling pin (dust rolling pin with flour to keep it from sticking).

Cut out circles with a small cookie cutter.

Place circles on baking tray, evenly spaced, and gently press them down with a fork.

Bake for 10 mins.

These biscuits should be fairly soft, try turning the oven temperature down a little or cook for a little less time :) hope this helps!

Hi,
Just wondering if you could use oats instead of plain flour would this work if you milled the oats?
