Apple Carrot and Cheese Bites
Try out these tasty little apple, carrot and cheese bites for your toddler. They are very simple to prepare, just grate up some apple, carrot and cheese, mix all ingredients together, then bake!

They smell very yummy in the oven, and cook in just 12 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup carrot, grated finely
  • 1/2 cup apple, grated finely (peel it first)
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated finely
  • 2 eggs, whisked lightly
  • 1/4 cup plain flour

Method

Preheat oven to 200 C (390 F) and line a baking tray with baking paper.

Mix flour and eggs together in a mixing bowl.

Add grated carrot, apple and cheese and mix to combine.

Place spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking tray, evenly spaced.

Bake for about 12-15 minutes, until they are firm and golden.

Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Store in the fridge in an airtight container for a few days.

Makes approximately 30.

They're pretty much flavorless but I added some peanut butter on top and cut into peace. Delicious!
